Maybe it is my English, but from the bug description "Dropping the non-
PAE ia32 kernel flavour has knock-on effects for installers" I wouldn't
have expected that this is marked as "fixed" with the non-pae kernel
being removed from the installer disc in 12.10.
I have opened another bug #1072311 that clearly states what is wrong
here. If you're affected, you might want to support this new bug.
