[Bug 1063099] Unable to upgrade to ubuntu 12.10

Hi,

I have tried to upgrade to ubuntu 12.10 by means of the update manager. 
I am not able to do so and get the message Package 
ubuntu-release-upgrader does not exist. Kindly help.
