better. Could you please add all of the log files from '/var/log/dist-
upgrade/' to this bug report as separate attachments, not as tar/gzip
files and please do not post the contents of the logs in the comments
field.

Also please execute the following command, as it will automatically
gather debugging information, in a terminal:

  apport-collect 994108

  After attempting an upgrade to 12.04, I get an error and am told to
  report the error via terminal.
