Title:
Traced app crashes because ltrace < 0.7.0 can't trace multi-threaded
processes
Status in “ltrace” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Status in “ltrace” package in Debian:
Unknown
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ltrace
When trying to trace openttd (openttd 0.6.3-1, i386), ltrace+openttd
exit prematurely after openttd receives a SIGTRAP.
I have repeated the trace a number of times, and the crash happens at different moments. I have attached three different traces. They were all generated using the following command:
ltrace -dddd openttd
I am running ubuntu 9.04 with a 2.6.28-16-generic (i686) kernel on an AMD Athlon 2650e
ltrace has version 0.5.1-2ubuntu1
Please let me know if you need more info.
Rogier.
