[Bug 1073160] [NEW] Installer hangs on boot with nvidia

Public bug reported:

When try to install ubuntu 12.04  x64 on a dell pc with Nvidia card,
the installation hangs (more precisely, screen is hangs, but something
is being done)

Solution: add  
 nomodeset
parameter to kernel when installing

I found it here

and I strongly believe it should be added to the official boot  troubleshooting documentation
