Title:
Resume from suspend to disk (or hibernate) fails with latest updates

Status in “acpi-support” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
I'm using hardy with all the latest updates.

This worked quite well on Hardy from about 1-2 months earlier.

I use the fglrx driver in xorg.conf, no binary kernel modules.

  linux-image:
    Installed: 2.6.24.18.20

  xorg-driver-fglrx:
    Installed: 1:7.1.0-8-3+2.6.24.13-18.41

On resume, I just see a plain white background with nothing in the foreground. When I switch to a console using C+A+F1, I see a black background with vertical white stripes. No text. I can login, issue 'reboot' and that all seems to work fine. ssh access works as well.

  I have a Radeon X1400 on my Thinkpad T60.
