no, it's in the icedtea-netx package. See http://packages.ubuntu.com/

command-not-found should be fixed for this

** Package changed: openjdk-6 (Ubuntu) => command-not-found (Ubuntu)

Title:
  openjdk-6-jre broken

Status in “command-not-found” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Probably after a recent update, jnlp-files can't be opened anymore (specifically koala.jnlp from evo.caltech.edu).
  The command
  >javaws -viewer gives the error message

  The program 'javaws' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
  sudo apt-get install openjdk-6-jre

  Synaptic says, openjdk-6-jre is installed. Reinstalling does not help.

          Best regards ... Peter Glassel
