Public bug reported:

  affects ubuntu/python2.7

The binaries from libpython2.7 are still located in /usr/lib/ instead of
/usr/lib/<multiarch-triplet>. This prevents 32-bit-only applications linking
against libpython2.7 from running on amd64.
