[Bug 1165740] [NEW] zgrep recursive search not working

Public bug reported:

Grep Version: 2.12
Ubuntu Version: 12.10

Running "zgrep -r" reports the following message:

/bin/zgrep: -r: option not supported

Since the man page for zgrep indicates that all options are passed
directly to grep I would assume that all grep options are supported by
zgrep. If gnu zgrep does not support all grep options then the man page
should indicate this.

As a side note, BSD zgrep does support recursive search.

** Affects: grep (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
