While the crash was pretty deterministic, there was a simple workaround
for it. Install with NY timezone instead of the default one (CZ GMT
+1). It pick the main mirror instead of the local one and everything
went smooth.
It points more to the state of package distribution and mirroring then
to the bug in the actual software. Given the fact that the software has
not been released yet I would not bother any further ...
