Title:
  Installer crashes after username, password & continue

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Install (entire disk) in Kubuntu Desktop powerpc for Raring Daily
  crashes same as Install (auto-resize) - immediately after entering
  username, password and selecting continue. I restarted the installer
  and it showed an installation on the drive and yaboot looked in the
  right place (/pci at f4000000/firewire... but possibly from an earlier
  installation?) No such file or directory. Also KDE partition manager
  would not write clean partition table from Live CD but installer
  accepted drive as target and seemed fine until crash. Re:
