I've replicated this.  The U/I does correctly show if the passwords
match or not, so the feedback to the user before they press continue is
correct.  I'm not sure if this is actually RC or not.  I could see
release noting this if we have to (rather than respin every flavor for
this Kubuntu specific issue).  It would be, really good to get fixed if
a patch is available and we respin for other reasons.
