The user should be prompted with a listbox of some sort, containing all
the nearby places.

Also, not all users are map-aware. They know they are in country XYZ,
but they are not educated enough to pinpoint the exact location on the
map. The users should have an alternative display of available
locations.

Title:
Magnifying glass for choosing time zone

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

  Ubuntu 9.10

Some areas of the world are rather crowded, and trying to choose one's
city from the current map is often difficult. For instance, I have a
hard time clicking on the single pixel that is Jerusalem, I usually
need three or four tries not to click on Gaza or Amman. It would be
nice if a magnifying glass would pop up in these crowded areas, making
  choosing one's city easier.

  Thanks!
