[Bug 1173207] [NEW] Black screen on unlock

Public bug reported:

After unlocking, I see only a black screen with the mouse cursor.
Switching to another TTY and back fixes the issue. Using Kubuntu 13.04,
ATI FireGL graphics.

Expected: return to normal desktop.
