[Bug 1174538] [NEW] upgrade from 12.10 to 13.04 is hung

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I already had  xubuntu 12.10 running fine.
I decided to upgrade to 13.04  through installation DVD .
all stages got over in less than 30 minutes but at the end it got stuck at  "restoring already installed packages"

I kept on waiting for more than 3 hours and now also i have left on god
, may be after 8 hours when i wake up it will done.


I have Pentium 4 processor with 1 GB RAM. 


I am attaching , screen shots and videos of what was going on.
