I simply confirm that the Bug of a failure during the installing of ttf-mscorefonts, is still present at this date July 2013, and present for both the Ubuntu 32-bit release 12.04LTS and 32-bit Studio 12.04LTS release. 
 
In this bug report;

the Bug report is changed to Status "Invalid". I feel this is wrong, as there is no clear solution to this Installation failure.

Bug description:
  I had the same problem with 11.04.  I also couldn't download flash,
  but got around that by following a suggestion from one of the forums.
