Hi, any chance we could make sure this makes it in Ubuntu at least in
the next LTS?

This seems like a very useful feature in server/cloud environments.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: curl

  Some programs, such as unrealircd, require that libcurl be built with
  c-ares support. Otherwise, libcurl cannot act asynchronously and will
  cause the client program to hang while curl tries to resolve
  hostnames.
