[Bug 1218784] [NEW] Installing Ubuntu using nothing but the default settings for had drive partitioning, still crashes

Installing Ubuntu on a Edge 11/Lenovo.

While partitioning the hard drive, I received the error it would not see
changes on the /dev/sda2 drive until a reboot. And then the installer
crashed.
