Public bug reported:
When installing Kubuntu, Ubiquity fails to populate the apt xapian cache
on /target , leaving the xapian cache to be populated at a unspecified
time by a cronjob which might not run for the next 24 hours.
Ideally, after configuring the sources.list for the target system,
ubiquity should run a non blocking incremental update of the cache.
