  error in the Kpackage kit

Bug description:
  When you are in the Kpackage kit, click system updates and then
  refresh at the bottom of the screen.  The system will search for the
  updates and before it finishes an error message pops up and tells you
  to reporte the bug...  I copied the  details and came here and the
  code describes this bug:
