Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

  I've been trying Kubuntu Intrepid alpha-3, and when I attempt to start
  the installer from the LiveCD system, I immediately get the error
  message described in the summary (I'll attach a screenshot as well as
  the contents of /var/log/syslog in a minute).

  I selected Norwegian at the ISOLINUX menu, but note that the LiveCD
  system is _not_ localised (it's in English).  They keyboard layout is
  correctly set, though.
