Unifont 6.3.20131215 was just uploaded to Debian.  That release fixes
this bug.

Status in “unifont” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  U+FE17 and U+FE18 are two vertical white lenticular brackets.
  According to the code page,
  http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/UFE10.pdf, U+FE17 should be concave
  down and U+FE18 concave up. Unifont has these transposed.
