Facing same issue and it is visa versa.
Apt history log as follows,

Start-Date: 2013-12-18 14:10:56
Commandline: apt-get -y install postgresql-9.3 postgresql-client-9.3 libpq-dev postgresql-contrib-9.3 postgresql-common
Install: postgresql-9.3:amd64 (9.3.1-1.pgdg12.4+1), postgresql-contrib-9.3:amd64 (9.3.1-1.pgdg12.4+1), postgresql-common:amd64 (149.pgdg12.4+1)
Remove: logrotate:amd64 (3.8.3-3ubuntu2)

Bug description:
Logrotate uninstalls postgresql 9.3 (installed from apt.postgresql.org).
Please find the report below.
It seems to be some incompatibility with the package postgresql-common.
# apt-get install logrotate
Reading package lists... Done

The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
comerr-dev krb5-multidev libgssrpc4 libkadm5clnt-mit8 libkadm5srv-mit8

Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.

postgresql-9.3 postgresql-common postgresql-contrib-9.3
postgresql-server-dev-9.3
The following NEW packages will be installed:
logrotate
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 4 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Need to get 41.7 kB of archives.
After this operation, 24.3 MB disk space will be freed.
