  libc6 new update on trusty makes java crash

Status in “eglibc” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  After upgrade to Trusty, new libc packages are installed. These are the information:
  $ ls -l libc6*
  -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4729994 Dec 16 12:38 libc6_2.18-0ubuntu1_amd64.deb
  -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4032444 Dec 16 13:28 libc6_2.18-0ubuntu1_i386.deb

  But this new update make java crash:

  Attach is the error report file. When I change to 2.17 version,
  everything seems works well.
