I changed Bug Description, so now it can be reproduced (for sure, tested
many times).
** Description changed:
Ubiquity crashes if I uncheck format option from "Something Else"
advanced install option.
Steps to reproduce:
- 1. I created in Gparted:
- Partition Table in MBR (msdos), NON-EFI system
- /dev/sda1 -- 1024 MiB EXT4
- /dev/sda2 -- 30 GiB Btrfs
- /dev/sda3 -- 205 GiB Btrfs
- /dev/sda4 -- 4 GiB linux-swap
- 2. Opens Ubiquity for install

+ /dev/sda2 -- 30 GiB Btrfs
+ /dev/sda3 -- 205 GiB Btrfs
+ /dev/sda4 -- 4 GiB linux-swap
+ 2. Opens Ubiquity for install (or try "Install session" from the start)
3. Select "Something Else" in Installation Type
- 4. Double click in sda2 partition, Use as: "Ext4 journaling file system", Mount Partition: /, and click OK
- 5. Partition will be marked to formatting, so double click it again, and change to "btrfs journaling file system", unselect Format option and click OK
- 6. Partition will still be marked to formatting, so uncheck format columm
+ 4. Double click in sda2 partition, Use as: "Ext4 journaling file system", Mount Partition: /, and click OK (DO NOT select for format it)
+ 5. Partition will be marked to formatting, so double click it again, and change to "btrfs journaling file system", check Format option (it will be already checked) and click OK
+ 6. Partition will not be checked to formatting, so check format columm
7. Ubiquity will crash
+
+ If you try it in "Install session", then an apport pop-up appears, you
+ click in Continue and you will go to a black screen, it's possible to
+ see only mouse icon.
+
+ Ctrl+Alt+F1 to tty1, and you will see tty1 display and mouse icon (you
+ can move it, strange behavior).
+
+ There are no effective report to launchpad, both in "Install session"
+ and desktop session.
