  Installation crashed near point of "removing extra packages"

Bug description:
  During installation of my computer the installation process succeeded
  the first time, but the separate /home partition was not formatted and
  the old /home was still at that location.

  I wanted a complete fresh installation, so I installed the computer
  again, but this is the third time it crashed at the same spot.
