Maybe I do not know what I am doing, but I followed the link and the instructions:
sudo ppa-purge xorg-edgers
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/xorg-edgers/ppa/ubuntu saucy main 
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/xorg-edgers/ppa/ubuntu saucy main 

ANd still does not work.
