** Description changed:
Upgrade from 10.04 LTS to 11.10 - Complained that installation media
corrupt or DVD drive not working properly. Used different media and
different DVD drive and same issue. This all started because I wanted to
use dual monitors (which work well in 10.04, but nothing else) and I saw
a solution, on one of the blogs(?), that I wanted to try, namely: change
the ui to Gnome2 rather than Unity.
- Damn! And I've got to demo some software on Tuesday.
