Hi,
of course this is a duplicate - I was wondering if this information helps somehow to fix the plymouth.
This is probably very complicated problem but will it be OK if I submit the patch for this bug ?

  Everything's fine except for ubuntu logo staying during reboot with
  "sudo reboot" typed into console.
