  ndiswrapper is not loaded in ubuntu 12.10 amd

Status in “ndiswrapper” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  I installed ndiswrapper from the Ubuntu store in 12.10 AMD to install
  windows drivers for a Toshiba C850 -F21E laptop with a Realtek
  Wireless adapter which works in Windows 7.

  When I try to install the driver it gives an error message saying the ndiswrapper module does not exist. I presume it is in the kernel.
  It loads the driver and says it found the hardware, buut is dos not work.

  I think there is a problem that the module is not included and does
  not install properly in the kernel.
