Public bug reported:
After a recent round of updates the password prompt to unlock encrypted
disks has multiple problems:
1. The prompt that shows the name of the disk being unlocked pushes the
prompt off the edge of the screen so it says:
"king the disk [volume path which runs off the right side of the screen]
2. If the pass-phrase is took long the number of stars typed stops
incrementing because the stars no longer fit into the pretty little
rounded window allotted to them.
