I can confirm Gustavo's theory, after editing the files in
/etc/apt/source.list.d/ and eliminating the accented characters
("actualización", for example), the entries are removable or selectable
again in software-properties-gtk; so this must be a string handling bug
in that program.

Confirmed
Bug description:
When upgrading the distribution 12.04 to 12.10 in the software sources within other software, ppa sources are disabled due to upgrade.
Hitherto normal.
But when you try to re-activate the PPA, you ask for the password, enter it, but accept hard you try to activate them by selecting the checkbox, the checkbox is not activated.
Never can reactivate PPA sources.
Tested on multiple PC's
