Thank you for your time as well. As I am beginner with Linux and subsequently have formatted the drive do you should I try again to install Ubuntu 12.10? Currently I understand that I have to install, and once the installation halts to reboot and give the commands you are requesting.
And if I may also ask where do I find the logs and with what filenames they are?
