[Bug 1100213] [NEW] Precise d-i installations fail with kernel mismatch

Public bug reported:

Precise d-i, both amd64 and i386 and both server and alternate
installations fail with "/cdrom/dists/precise/main/debian-installer
/binary-amd64/Packages does not exist."  error. This occurs with
20130116 precise alternate and server installations.

The syslog stops with the following segment
Jan 16 09:58:36 cdrom-retriever: warning: File /cdrom/dists/precise/main/debian-installer/binary-amd64/Packages does not exist.
Jan 16 09:58:36 cdrom-retriever: warning: File /cdrom/dists/precise/restricted/debian-installer/binary-amd64/Packages does not exist.
