with the switch to compiz in ubiqity we lost the drawing of the
wallpaper completely, on other hardware the background then is just
black, not so on the tegra driver. so this are two distinct bugs, one
for "hey bring back the wallpaper drawing" and one for "distorted color
patterns on tegra3 instead of black screen" ... i'm pretty sure though
that once teh wallpaper support is back in ubiquity the second issue
wont be exposed anymore.

Title:
corrupted video background with today's raring nexus7 image

Status in Ubuntu on the Nexus 7:
  New
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Installing today's daily image to my nexus7, I found that the oem-
config screen came up with a completely corrupted background (diagonal
stripes, like something wasn't sure what the stride was). The oem-
config window itself rendered perfectly and I was able to install,
after which the desktop loaded correctly with no further video
  corruption.
