Public bug reported:

Install stuck after selecting "continue" on the window preceding
partitioner.  Cursor just whirls and whirls 8 minutes now.  Acer Aspire
5253 wide screen notebook.  Last successful raring install in December.
(still running updated).

Have not been able to get a successful install since.
