[Bug 1111547] [NEW] screenblank.sh script shuts down disrupts wireless connection

Public bug reported:

I have noticed that running the screenblank.sh script (at
/etc/acpi/screenblank.sh) disrupts the wireless connection. The
connection is cut off and the wireless device can no longer successfully
scan for wireless connections until after its switched off and on again.

Please tell me how I can help solving this problem.
