Status in “ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Ubuntu installer has nice images that is displayed as a slideshow
  while installing.

  Kubuntu slideshow has only text.

  It will be nice to see relevant images in the kubuntu-installer
  slideshow too.
