  after dban on hd and a successfully installation unable to boot

Status in “debian-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  I used dban http://www.dban.org/ to erase my hd

  i used 2 methods doesnt' matter, but i will tell you that i used :

  in the first computer i used , Gutmann method (xD ) , instead in the
  second computer : Prng stream 8 pass

  Thne i have installed successfully  kubuntu on both machine,  both
  installed with  USB STICK WITH  mini iso, in the installer i have
  selected kubuntu-desktop  , without apparent errors , after the
  standard reboot  they did not boot, i have checked the HD and the
  files were properly installed but the computer did not boot.

  I have done a grub-install , chrooting ... and i fixed the problem, so
  i guess this is  a bug in the installer
