Public bug reported:
The default device permissions/groups on upgrade made sound, camera, and
scanner devices unavailable for non-privelaged users.
In order to fix sound, I had to add myself to the audio group.
Camera devices are defaulting to root:root ownership.
Scanner device has root:lp ownership.
Either way, permissions on upgrade are too restrictive for desktop use.
