Title:
  every other boot hangs

Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: grub2

Using Natty, I see this happen since about alpha2. That was when I reinstalled root (ext4)
After machine restart, instead of the GRUB boot menu I see the aubergine background and the fans are working.
After another reboot the menu comes up fine and the booting is successful.
It happens everytime, and it is always the second try that is successful.
