I have no idea why this was assigned to lp-buildd long ago, but it's a
pkgbinarymangler feature request. It's probably also dangerously close
to impossible to implement, due to network restrictions, but we can
think about that. Maybe we could ship a massive preprocessed table in
the package or something, so that spammers can easily pull all our email
addresses from the package branch, despite them sometimes being hidden
in LP? :P

Title:
use more validatedemail addresses for maintainer e-mail whitelisting

Status in launchpad-buildd:
  Invalid
Status in “pkgbinarymangler” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
It would be nice if the system for deciding whether to mangle an
e-mail address whitelisted all addresses owned by a person who also
has an @ubuntu.com address, rather than merely whitelisting
@ubuntu.com. So, for instance, cjwatson at debian.org should be
automatically whitelisted because kamion also has cjwatson at ubuntu.com
  as a validated e-mail address.
