Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Reviewing your log files attached to this bug report it
seems that there is a problem with the disk to which you are trying to
install Ubuntu. I'd recommend performing a back up of your existing
operating system and then investigating the situation. Measures you
might take include checking cable connections for your disks and using
software tools to investigate the health of your hardware. In the event
that is is not in fact an error with your hardware please set the bug's
status back to New. Thanks and good luck!

[This is an automated message. I apologize if it reached you
inappropriately; please just reply to this message indicating so.]

Title:
original dvd 32bit allerted me during incomplete installation the
  harddisk contains faults

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
original dvd 32bit allerted me during incomplete installation the
  harddisk contains faults

what kind of faults I don't know.

  Scenario:
I just ordered an original dvd from ebay because my 12.04 dvd that burned myself worked for a while (i checked the integrity before installing the code/numbers were good) then it crashed several times and severeal times I reinstalled it deleting everything.

But from the very start after installation it would give me the
notice: "system contains faults" ubuntu would work but for a shorter
  periode of time everytime.

with this dvd it starts the installation but not even halfway through
it gives a notice that there is something wrong with my harddrive. I
have no idea what. That's what I'm hoping this report helps me
  forward.

  Thank you in advance
  U3virgin
