While gparted is a good tool, the majority of people have no need for
it, so there's no reason to force it onto them.  It is easy enough to
install if you want it.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

  ubuntu 8.04 desktop i386 CD

  After install (default options; reduce Windows partition to make room for linux),
  there is not Partition Editor entry in the System/Administration menu.
  Neither is there a gparted file on the filesystem.
