  saucy initramfs ballooned, causing bootspeed regression

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Our initramfs size increased from 14 MB (raring) to 31 MB for 3.9.0-2
  on May 28, and since then shrinked back to 23 MB today; that's still a
  big increase we need to investigate/fix.
