I have also tried to run Boot repair one more time, however
the system is still not booting.
I still exits into a "grub recovery" terminal when starting the laptop.
When I turn off the BIOS legacy mode, then only the EFI boot options are evailable.
The systems then first tries to remote-start using IPV4 and after a timeout IPV6 and stays there
for a long time...
When escaping, it says that no bootable media is available.
**********************************************************************
I found a forum message, which claims to install grub-pc instead of grub-efi.
However, I could not install grub-pc due to severe errors while downloading the packages
*****************************
Any sugestions?
Thank you in advance!
Gerald

one think that is very strange with this laptop:
cant boot from DVD until I switched to "legacy boot mode" which forces me to turn secure EFI mode off.
(Still using EFI mode)
Internet says I'm not the only one with this issue..
