[Bug 1191252] [NEW] when installing ubunu 12.10 on another pc, it s not booting properly with disk or memo-stick?

The pc in question was running 12.4 lts, then i was offered 12.10 to
try, but lost connection during update, how can i sort this? Been so
close, begining started, but then stopped the operating system totally
