Title:
claims to remove "nogroup" but doesn't
Status in “adduser” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: adduser
Upon deletion of a system user in nogroup, deluser claims to delete it
because no user is in this group. But many other system users have
nogroup as their primary group, and deluser does not delete nogroup
after all (it just prints this wrong message):
root at sauron:/etc# deluser --system mt-daapd
Removing user `mt-daapd' ...
Warning: Removing group `nogroup', since no other user is part of it.
Done.
root at sauron:/etc# getent group nogroup
nogroup:x:65534:
root at sauron:/etc#
Just a minor bug, probably not urgent (or even worth at all) to be
fixed in hardy.
