cron, by default, will not log any errors (default loglevel is 1 -- only
log cron jobs startup). How do you know there are errors?

Bug description:
  When I check /var/log/ for any potential log reports for cron, there
  is nothing there, even though cron is running. Cron is not reporting
  any of its errors.
