[Bug 657656] Re: tty login shows update message twice

It happened for me today on 12.04.2 LTS. Before, every time I logged in,
it worked great. Then it started to display that update notification
twice every time I logged in.

`sudo /usr/lib/update-notifier/update-motd-updates-available --force`
fixed it nicely. Now, whenever I log in, it works the way it should once
more.

  Today's update has caused this minor error; if you log into a tty
  terminal, the available updates message will be written twice, like
  this:

  0 packages can be updated.
  0 packages are security updates.
  0 packages can be updated.
  0 packages are security updates.
